Bronze bell with timber handle, believed to be from Sorell Station on the Bellerive to Sorell Railway.
Information text from Heritage Village -
"SORELL RAILWAY BELL
The station master at Sorell rang this bell to announce the arrival and departure of the steam trains from the Sorell railway station in Station Lane Sorell.
The bell was presented to the pupils at Sorell School in 1982 by members of the Orana Girl Guides Committee. The bell had for many years been used at the camp because of its historical significance the decision was made to return it to Sorell to be used at the Heritage Village."
